Aaron Fa'Aoso – Founder | Executive Director
Aaron established Lonestar in 2013 and is a proud Torres Strait Islander, as well as an accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer across film and television.
He first gained national recognition as an actor in a number of hit Australian series, including Remote Area Nurse, East West 101, The Straits, Blue Water Empire, and Black Comedy, before transitioning into writing, producing, and directing.
Aaron is the creator and producer of the internationally broadcast series Strait to the Plate, and has co-written his memoir So Far, So Good, as well as a children’s book, Spirit of the Crocodile.
